VI.7.19 Pompeii. May 2006. Entrance.
According to Della Corte, living in this house would have been a certain Fabius Tyrannus.
He thought this was proved by the two recommendations written on the left of the doorway which were –
Fabius
rog(at) [CIL IV 217]
(Fabius) Tyrannus
rog(at) [CIL IV 224]
On the right side of the doorway was found–
(Fabius) Tyrannus
cupiens fecit cum Sodales (sic) [CIL
IV 221]
